The Part Authority is an Australian-owned specialist store supplying high-quality compatible parts for Dyson, Breville, Thermomix and other premium appliances. Our mission is to help you repair, restore and extend the life of your machines at a fair price — instead of replacing them.

Are your parts genuine OEM products?

No — our parts are premium compatible replacements that match OEM performance and fitment. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by Dyson, Breville, Thermomix, Vorwerk or any other manufacturer mentioned on our site.

How do I know if a part will fit my appliance?

Every product page includes a detailed compatibility section listing models, sizes and important notes. If you’re unsure, contact us with your model number and we’ll confirm fitment before you buy.

Do you offer bulk or trade pricing?

Yes — if you are a café, repairer, cleaner or commercial operator, reach out to us with your requirements and we can discuss trade or volume pricing.

What is your Perfect Fit Guarantee?

If a part you buy from us doesn’t fit your appliance exactly as intended, we’ll replace it or refund you — fast and hassle-free. No long forms, no arguments, just a practical solution.

Does the Perfect Fit Guarantee apply to every product?

Yes — every item sold by The Part Authority is covered by our Perfect Fit Guarantee, provided it was purchased for a model listed on the product page.

What if I accidentally ordered the wrong part?

It happens. Contact us with your order number and your machine’s model, and we’ll help you switch to the correct part. In most cases, we can arrange an exchange or a refund once the incorrect item is returned in unused condition.

 


🚚 Shipping & Delivery

Where do you ship from?

To keep prices sharp and stock levels consistent, our products ship directly from our international fulfilment partners. Orders are tracked end-to-end and supported locally by our Australian-based customer team.

How long does shipping take?

Most orders arrive within 7–14 business days, depending on your location and the specific product. Regional and remote areas may take slightly longer. Tracking will keep you updated along the way.

Do you provide tracking for all orders?

Yes — as soon as your order has been dispatched, you’ll receive a tracking link via email so you can follow its progress.

How much does shipping cost?

We offer low, simple flat-rate shipping Australia-wide. From time to time we also run free-shipping promotions on selected products or order values, which will be clearly displayed at checkout.

 


Returns & Refunds

What is your returns policy?

We offer a 30-day returns window on all products. If you experience an issue, receive the wrong item or simply find it doesn’t suit your machine, contact us and we’ll work with you on a return, replacement or refund.

What if my order arrives damaged or faulty?

If an item arrives damaged or not working as it should, we’ll replace it or refund you. Just send through a clear photo and a brief description so we can sort it out quickly.

Do I need to keep the original packaging?

Where possible, please keep the original packaging. However, as long as the item is unused and in resaleable condition, we can usually still process a return even without it.

Do your parts come with a warranty?

Yes — all products include a 12-month warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal household use.

What does the warranty cover?

The warranty covers premature failure, manufacturing defects and performance issues that are not caused by misuse, incorrect installation or accidental damage.

How do I make a warranty claim?

Simply contact us with your order number, a description of the issue and clear photos or a short video. Our team will assess the claim and arrange a replacement or refund where appropriate.

 


Product Compatibility

How do I find my Dyson model number?

Dyson models are usually identified by a code printed on the main body or battery label (e.g. V7, V8, V10, V11, V12, V15). Some also have variant names like Absolute, Animal or Detect Slim. Match these details with the compatibility list on our product page.

How do I confirm compatibility for Breville espresso parts?

Breville espresso machines have their model code (e.g. BES870, BES878, BES880, BES840, BES810) on the underside or behind the drip tray. Compare this with the compatible model list on the product page before you order.

How do I know if a Thermomix part fits my TM5 or TM6?

Thermomix TM5 and TM6 parts are not always interchangeable. Each Thermomix product on our site clearly indicates whether it suits TM5, TM6, or both. If in doubt, send us a message with your model and we’ll confirm for you.

Are your parts safe to use with my appliance?

Yes — our parts are made from high-quality materials suitable for their intended purpose. For food contact items (such as gaskets, lids and blades), we only supply parts made from food-grade materials appropriate for kitchen use.

 


! Order Issues

I entered the wrong shipping address — what should I do?

Contact us as soon as possible with your order number and the correct address. If your order hasn’t been dispatched yet, we can usually update it before it leaves the warehouse.

My order hasn’t arrived yet — what now?

First, check your tracking link for the latest updates. If there has been no movement for several business days or the parcel appears lost, get in touch and we’ll investigate with the courier.

Can I cancel my order?

Orders can usually be cancelled or changed before they are shipped. Once dispatched, changes are handled through our returns process instead.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) as well as Shop Pay, Apple Pay and Google Pay through our secure checkout.

Is my payment information secure?

Yes — all transactions are processed via Shopify’s PCI-compliant payment system. Your card details are encrypted and are never stored on our servers.

Do you offer buy now, pay later options?

We plan to add buy now, pay later options such as Afterpay or Zip Pay as soon as they become available via our payment gateway. When available, they will appear automatically at checkout.
